Today, I wanted to share some of my favorite things to listen to on a peaceful + relaxing I sunday morning.
I try to start each morning off with prayer, brushing my teeth and washing my face, writing in my journal and listening to inspirational podcast.
1. T.D Jakes - The Potter's Touch, podcast
Whenever I can't make it to service, i'll tune in to the potter's house podcast for my sunday dose of worship. I can be cleaning my entire down stairs area, making sunday dinner and having this podcast blasting throughout the house. Another thing I like about this podcast is the fact that it's roughly about 30-45 minutes, but, it makes you feel as though you're at church getting the word.
2. Alex Elle - Hey, Girl podcast.
I love this podcast because not only is it authentic, it's raw and unapologetic. I love that Alex discuss motherhood, being a wife, entrepreneur and author. Being a mother, newly married and stepping into the world of entrepreneurship while working my 9-5 brings me this abundance amount of joy because there's a lot of great women out there who share their stories about having both and not being limited to only one source of income(disclaimer: always do what works for you). I also love that she shares her platform with other mothers and entrepreneurs.
3. Black girl in nom - Deun Ivory + Lauren Ash
I really love and recommend the black girl in nom podcast because they're two amazing black women who are making things happen in the (collaboration over competition) world and I am loving it. Their podcast sheds light on being a creative, finding space in the creative world, mental health, wellness and community.
